Enhancing customer experiences just got easier with the latest link/unlink feature to our SerVme-Simphony POS integration. This innovative integration gives restaurants a new level of server flexibility and guest personalization.
Restaurants can now exchange data between SerVme and Simphony POS seamlessly. This allows restaurants and hotel F&B operators to track guest orders, preferences, allergies, and even pre-payments or deposits directly within the Simphony POS.
This integration not only personalizes the guest experience but also provides real-time updates on spending, enabling staff to view menu items ordered at each table and identify upselling opportunities.

With the new integration with Oracle’s Micros Simphony, we’ve incorporated a range of new benefits for the F&B team to:
Manually link and unlink reservations directly from the point of sale and the SerVme table management system.
View the reservation list in the point of sale including upcoming, arrived and partially arrived reservations.

Pre- Payment /deposits
Membership codeTracking of all pre-payment amounts applied to checks in the POS reports; and
Automatic deduction of pre-payment amounts (deposits) without the need for manual entry
This gives flexibility for restaurants to decide on the operational flow.
Default employee names appear on all checks opened by serVme.
Default order types appear on all checks.
1. Combined Key Features
The integration seamlessly combines two essential features—automatic opening of a guest check from serVme and direct seating of a reservation from POS. This flexibility allows the integration to adapt to operational demands.
2. Dynamic Employee Names
Employees can manually open the check from POS, enabling them to link the reservation to a specific check under their name. This helps measure employee sales targets.
3. Flexible Order Types
Similarly, the integration resolves the problem of a static order type name on all guest checks. Staff can manually open the check from POS, define the order type, and link the reservation accordingly. Thus employees can track revenues based on order type (dine-in, take away, in-house guest, walk-in guest, etc)
4. Reduced Overhead Costs
Notably, the new integration eliminates the mandatory requirement for the Simphony transaction service, effectively reducing overhead costs for the restaurant.
This feature empowers restaurant managers and servers, allowing them to seamlessly connect (or disconnect) guest checks between the SerVme reservation system and Simphony POS.
Hostesses and servers gain access to guest spending details and ordered menu items on both SerVme and Simphony dashboards, enhancing them to drive a more personalised service approach and understand the total guest spent per table and other analytical insights.
As the host takes the order, the menu items are instantly added to the POS. In addition, the servers can see all the guest’s reservation details in front of them.
To view the guest’s ordered items, servers need to click on ‘Orders.’
To see additional guest or reservation details, the hostesses can choose ‘link reservation’ and view those details as seen in the image below. (Note: This image is from the Simphony dashboard)
If the host/hostess forgets to link the POS to SerVme, they can enable the linking option later by clicking the 3-dots menu on the SerVme dashboard. From there, they can click the link/unlink check to POS.
Besides linking checks, there are several ways restaurants can benefit from the SerVme-Simphony integration.
Redeem prepayments directly
Easily apply advance payments or pre-payment amounts on the guest check as needed, without manual input, reducing the chance of human error.
For example, if a guest has paid an online deposit or reservation fee via the SerVme widget, the linking feature allows the server to click ‘apply’ in their POS dashboard and redeem the deposit. The deposit is then deducted from the total bill.
Both the guest and server/user can see the prepaid amount deducted from the bill, with the note “SerVme Payment.”
Once the guest pays the bill and leaves, the check is closed on the POS and the reservation status changes to ‘left’ on SerVme. All invoice data gets collated on the guest’s profile and the restaurant’s daily report. (Note: This image is from the Simphony dashboard)
Link/unlink past reservations
Besides linking checks for guest reservations and walk-ins, you can also link (or unlink) past reservations to the POS if you note or suspect any mistakes.
Auto arrive
When linking a reservation to a guest check in the POS, SerVme will automatically mark the reservation as arrived.
Reservation list
Simphony POS enables direct viewing of all pending and upcoming reservations in SerVme.
Real-time menu item update
The SerVme table management software provides real-time visibility of all menu items ordered from the POS, offering opportunities for upselling and efficient table turnover management.
Split checks
When guests split the check, SerVme receives all sub-checks, aggregates the amounts, and notifies the user/host that the check was split.
Wrapping it up
SerVme seamlessly integrates with Oracle Point of Sale and Opera property management system, providing a comprehensive suite of integrations designed to optimize operations and gather in-depth guest insights. We offer an array of different integrations, including the auto-check integration, which automatically opens a check into Simphony and facilitates the reservations flow.
